SteelBuilt Corp. is pleased to be fulfilling another job opportunity with our Canadian Government. This training fire hall expansion building is being erected up at CFB Borden. It will house several fire trucks and other types of fire suppression equipment.

The images of this project involves a traditional barn transformation into a modern barndominium. Our client has developed their unique design and we are constructing it this spring. The foundation wall is constructed with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), saving the existing concrete pad.

The owner is in the construction industry and used many of his trades people to help onsite. SteelBuilt Corp provided the design, engineering and delivery of the steel building. We also engaged one of our civil engineer partners to produce stamped foundation drawings and complete inspection reports required by the Town of Whitby. Client decided to use spray foam to insulate the building and ended up finishing the interior with steel liner panel

Our customer in Coe Hill, Ontario wanted to build their “forever steel workshop”. They turned to SteelBuilt Corp for design and build of their 40′ x 40′ x 16′ steel workshop with 3 – 10′ x 10′ garage door openings, eave & gable overhangs and a few accent windows. Insulated with R30 in the roof & R20 in the walls for climate control in all seasons, this workshop will serve them for many years to come.
